When I was young, I enjoyed being creative with drawings and building structures. When I was 13 years old, I helped build a seven-story tree house in my friends back yard. The top floor had an open deck with hand rail all around, trap doors and many other unique features. That was only the beginning of my building days. After graduating from high school, I attended a 4-year Apprenticeship Program called Associated Builders & Contractors in Annapolis, MD and continued to further my career working as a lead capenter building custom homes and additions. In 1995, I established Barnes Builders, Inc. and have continued to work in the Maryland area.

On a personal note, my wife Cindy and I lead the worship for a Christian contemporary praise band called, "TNL Praise Band". We minister at drug/alcohol rehabilitation centers, homeless parks, and other community outreach events as well as church services and fundraiser events. Check us out on Facebook!
